Thai legal workshops in Denmark brought together around 110 Thai residents for advice on family matters, inheritance and labour rights. The Thai Embassy and Thailand’s Office of the Attorney General organised the Thai legal workshops in Denmark on 26–27 September 2026.
Around 70 people attended the first session at the embassy in Copenhagen. A second session attracted about 40 participants in Aalborg and ran alongside the embassy’s mobile consular service.
Advice on Thai and Danish law
Kosonlavat Intujunyong led the sessions. He heads the Department of Rights Protection and Legal Aid at Thailand’s Office of the Attorney General. Topics included land ownership, inheritance, child custody, adoption, military conscription and legal matters affecting Thais living abroad. Participants could also ask questions directly.
Danish lawyer Flemming Rasmussen, a partner at Machenhauer Nielsen, joined the Copenhagen session to explain relevant aspects of Danish law.
Thai Ambassador Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang opened both events. She highlighted the embassy’s role in helping Thai residents understand their rights and responsibilities and protect their families and property.
